Drawbacks

1.      Increases risk of bone fracture from conditions such as osteoporosis, because of containing osteoporosis.
2.      It contains caffeine. It is a neuro stimulator. One should not have green tea before going to bed.
3.      Over-consumption of green tea can cause kidney stones. This is due to containing oxalates.
4.      It is a diuretic that means increases urine formation which leads to filling up of urinary bladder in a short time.
5.      Green tea contains tannins; these have shown an inclination to promote esophageal cancer.
